BrookeEasy installation on Volvo XC90

Very easy to install, simple instructions, took about 30 minutes total. Most difficult part was tightening the little screws under the crossbars. Fit my 2022 Volvo XC90 with flushed non raised side rails. Have not used to transport anything yet but seems to be sturdy.

KallieEventual fiberglass issue

Have had for almost 5 years now and they have held up well, I never took them off. Honestly it was a challenge to put on my ‘21 Kia telluride so once on, it never came off. I’ve used it to transport surfboards, 1-man canoe, SUPs, wood planks, tents, PVC piping…. So far its been strong and sturdy. Its paid itself off at this point.Only issue, after 2-3 years i started noticing the connecting towers started to “shimmer” a bit. Turns out with the harsh elements of a tropical climate and wear and tear, fiberglass has become a problem. Anytime i tie something on to the racks I have to be careful to not touch the towers or risk getting a fiberglass skin irritation. The crossbeams were always covered with padding so not sure it it would’ve suffered the same fate of deterioration.
