I installed these on a 2026 RAV4 with flush rails which came with the car from the factory. I was looking for a low profile cross bars at first, but after I saw this I decided to give this a try as it it much wider and has more area to provide a solid grip once they are tightened down. And I am very glad I did. The installation was very easy process and took less than 30 minutes and that was because I was marking the exact locations on the roof rails as I was going along. The instructions were clear enough but this is a simple installation with very straightforward components.The aluminum construction feels lightweight and yet very rigid. I tested it with the ski rack clamp and as I was giving it a shake test, everything held up perfectly. Instead of the T-slot install on the channel, I will definitely go with the clamps instead. The locking key and its cover are another feature that caught my attention. These are very well made and well designed. Unlike some cross bars that stick out too much to the side or sit higher than these cross bars, I have found these to be the right height to manage the wind noise level. My test drive in the same afternoon on the freeway was a little bit of whistling and slight hum but that was certainly expected. Overall, very happy with the installation, how it looks, how it holds my ski racks and solid it feels.
