Excellent fit for my hardtop. The three xbars distribute the load. My kayak is 40 lbs., so I'm not worried as it's rated well above that. Once tightened, go back next day and snug down another 1/4 turn. Easy installation. One of the lockable covers had a broken lock. Emailed Snailfly and they replaced within days! Great service. A+++
